The Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Institute (CoolNet)
ARI is a national trade association representing manufacturers of more than 90% of U.S. produced central air-conditioning and commercial refrigeration equipment. It was formed in 1953 through a merger of two related trade associations. Over the past 45 years, ARI has emerged as the major voice for the air conditioning and refrigeration industry.
 
Heating, Refrigeration, and Air Conditioning Institue of Canada (HRAI)
HRAI is a partnership of industry sector organizations that represents HVACR manufacturers, wholesalers and contractors who provide the Canadian public with products and services for indoor comfort and essential refrigeration processes.
 
United Nations Environment Program: Industry and Environment

European Partnership for Energy and Environment
The central mission of EPEE is to contribute to the development of effective European policies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from the use of refrigerants. We believe that HFCs, HCs, water, and CO2 are all viable refrigerants.

European Fluorocarbon Technical Committee
EFCTC brings together fluorocarbon producers in Western Europe. Its main objective is to monitor the constantly changing legislation related to the environment and CFCs, HCFCs, HFCs, PFCs (perfluorinated carbons) and SF6 (sulphur hexafluoride) in the EU.
 
U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Building Owner Brochure
U.S. EPA and over 40 governments, companies, and associations, including the Alliance, developed this brochure entitled Building Owners Save Money, Save the Earth: Replace Your CFC Air Conditioning Chiller.
